Support for the Direct Standalone version of CADAM Drafting V5 will end on December 31, 2015. The Direct Standalone version is the version purchased through The CADAM Store.
This version is replaced by CADAM Drafting for V5 (shareable), CADEX PRPQ and CATIA Hybrid Raster.
These products provide identical function to the Direct Standalone Version, but they require a new licensing program (DSLS), and they require a new EULA to be signed.
Dassault Systèmes encourages its customers and partners who currently use the Direct Standalone product, to migrate to a supported product prior to the end of support date, December 31, 2015. Very favorable terms are being offered to encourage this migration. Please see the following migration offer.
Customers who do not migrate will not be supported after December 31, 2015. This means no support requests or problem reports will be accepted after this date. If subsequent support is required, a customer must purchase a supported product.
Any customer current with ALC who migrates from the Direct Standalone product to CADAM Drafting for V5 (shareable), CADEX PRPQ and CATIA Hybrid Raster will have the Primary License Charge (PLC) waived. ALC will remain the same as a customer is currently paying. This special Migration Offer will only be available in 2015. These special migration terms are available on a seat-for-seat replacement basis.
Customers will be billed for the Annual License Charge on their next anniversary date. Billing will now be from the Dassault Systemes Waltham office.
Customers migrating to the new CADAM Drafting V5 (shareable), CADEX PRPQ and CATIA Hybrid Raster will continue to obtain support, including downloading fixes, through cadam.com.
