Manage your drawings electronically. Safeguard your drawings by storing copies off site. Electronically distribute and collaborate over the Internet. Our technology can also transform your paper drawings or other unintelligent drawings into intelligent drawings.

Disassociated pieces of geometry - lines, notes, and curves or arcs - can be grouped together as a labeled symbol. Information about the symbol or part such as weight, cost, manufacturer, color, finish, etc., can all be stored with the part and extracted in a report such as a bill of material (BOM). Further intelligence can be added for schematics and electrical wiring diagrams such as connectivity. Metadata can be stored about the drawing either to be extracted later or to help identify a drawing (part number, revision level, date created, engineer, release level, engineering changes applied, etc.)

CCD data, whether it be metadata, or drawing data, can be extracted to a RDBMS where it can be queried and reported upon using standard database tools. Data can also be passed to corporate databases or to downstream manufacturing processes.

Services:

1. CAD Design: $40/hour
   • Create new and modify existing CCD drawings
   • Convert sketches or hand-drawn designs into CCD
   • Take advantage of repetitive patterns or similar designs to speed the design process
   • Create parametrically constrained drawings to enable automatic customization with families of parts
   • Convert unintelligent drawings to smart drawings
   • Plot drawings
   • Convert drawings from DXF/DWG, IGES, NURESTOR (CADRA, HELIX, and MICROCADAM) format to CCD drawings.
   • At minimum, requires software that can display a CGM, Postscript, DXF/DWG or other format file. Requires CCD, CATIA, or DXF/DWG editor to edit drawings.
      
2. Electrical Design: $45/hour
• Convert sketches or hand-drawn designs into intelligent CADEX drawings with labeled electrical symbols such as connectors, circuit breakers harnesses, ground studs, etc. Add information about components, circuits, pin IDs, wire data, etc., as required.
• Can also convert drawings from DXF/DWG, IGES, NURESTOR (CADRA, HELIX, and MICROCADAM) format to intelligent CADEX drawings.
• Requires CCD Electrical Design package to make use of intelligent data.
   
3. Convert paper drawing to CCD (raster format): $10/E-Size or smaller drawing.
• Requires CCD to read and manage drawing data
• Requires CCD Hybrid Raster to display, manage, edit, and vectorize data.
   
4. Convert paper drawing to CCD (vector and text format): $35/hour
    
5. Convert various CAD formats to and/or from CCD using our standard translators (CCD, DXF/DWG, MICROCADAM, HELIX, Mainframe CADAM, CATIA, IGES, CGM, PostScript, TIFF, and more): $10/drawing
