Windows hardware requirements for CADAM Drafting 425:

Processor Requirements

• System Unit: An Intel Pentium III or Pentium 4 based workstation running Windows 2000 Professional Edition or Windows XP Professional Edition.
• Real memory: A minimum of 128 MB of real memory is required . The real memory requirement may be greater if large or complex models are to be used or if optimum performance is to be achieved.
• Direct access storage: 200 MB.

Peripheral Requirements

• An internal or external CD-ROM drive is required for program installation.
• An SVGA graphics card with a minimum of 2 MB of video RAM
• A Windows compatible mouse or any pointing device that emulates a Windows compatible mouse
• An alphanumeric keyboard. A specific keyboard may be required for National Language Support; for example, the Japanese keyboard is required for Kanji support.
• One display compatible with a supported graphics card.
• A programmable function keypad is available for use with the Windows version of CADAM Drafting. Please see www.cadam.com for more information.

Windows software requirements for CADAM Drafting 425:

CADAM Drafting V4 is supported on the following Windows environments

• Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 4 or higher.
• Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 1 or higher.
• CADAM Drafting (5626-CCD) is the required base for CADAM IUE (5626-IUE), CATIA/CADAM MCX Translator (5626-MCX), and CATIA/CADAM Hybrid Raster (5626-RAS). CATIA/CADAM 2D Markup and Annotation (5626-MU2) is a standalone product.
• All CADAM Drafting products in a given system must be at the same version, release, and modification level, unless specifically announced otherwise.

AIX hardware requirements for CADAM Drafting 425:

Processor Requirements

  • Any RS/6000^®, based on PowerPC 604™ (166 MHz minimum clock speed), or Power4 processor families, supported on AIX V5.3.
  • Any Power5 or PowerPC based system supported on AIX V5.3.
• Graphic Adapter: One of the following graphic adapters is required.

AIX software requirements for CADAM Drafting 425:

• AIX 5.3 ML03, with the following components:
  
• XL C/C++ Enterprise Edition Run-time Environment at a minimum level of V7.0.0 with the IBM C++ Run-time Environment Component for AIX.
• IBM XL Fortran Enterprise Edition Run-time Environment for AIX at a minimum level of V9.1.0.
• Motif 2.1
• IBM PEX and PHIGS: delivered with AIX V5.3.
• CADAM Drafting (5626-CCD) is the required base for CADAM IUE (5626-IUE), CATIA/CADAM MCX Translator (5626-MCX), and CATIA/CADAM Hybrid Raster (5626-RAS). CATIA/CADAM 2D Markup and Annotation (5626-MU2) is a standalone product.

• System Unit: Any B-Class, C-Class, or J-Class workstation based on the PA8000 processor family and supported on  HP-UX 11iv1.
• Graphic Adapter: One of the following graphic adapters is required:

  • Visualize-FX4
  • Visualize-FX5
  • Visualize-FX6
  • Visualize-FX10
  • Fire GL-UX
  • Fire GL T2-128

  • HP Fortran 90 Run-time Environment (delivered with the operating system)
  • CDE (delivered with the operating system)
• CADAM Drafting (5626-CCD) is the required base for CADAM IUE (5626-IUE), CATIA/CADAM MCX Translator (5626-MCX), and CATIA/CADAM Hybrid Raster (5626-RAS). CATIA/CADAM 2D Markup and Annotation (5626-MU2) is a standalone product.

Required system maintenance for HP-UX: 

PHSS_11392 (s700_800 10.20 libhppa.a cumulative patch) must be installed on the system for CADAM Drafting to function correctly.
